Analysts of corporation expect double growth of the first cryptocurrency in the coming months and rise in price of Ethereum up to $26-35 thousand in long-term outlook
By the beginning of the next year, the bitcoin rate could reach $100 thousand, analysts at the British banking corporation Standard Chartered believe. In their opinion, in the long term, the quotations of the first cryptocurrency may rise to $175 thousand. In this case, the price of Ethereum will be $26-35 thousand, the bank added, reports Reuters.
“As a medium of exchange, bitcoin could become the dominant payment method for people without bank accounts in a cashless future,” the Standard Chartered study said.
As of September 8 at 3:00 p.m. Moscow time, bitcoin stands at $46,400. Ethereum is trading at $3,400. Both cryptocurrencies have fallen 9% in the past 24 hours.
