The owner of 616 bitcoins ($29.4 million at the time of the transaction) withdrew the cryptocurrency from his wallet, paying only $0.48 commission
On September 19, a transaction was recorded in which the holder withdrew from his wallet more than 616 bitcoins that had been stored there since 2012. According to Blockchair, the wallet’s owner bought the cryptocurrency nine years ago for a total of $8,100 (about $13 per coin). At the time of the transfer, the value of the bitcoins stored for nine years exceeded $29.5 million (an increase of almost 3,600 times). The transaction fee was $0.48.
On July 13, bitcoins that had been stored at the same address for more than nine years came in motion. Two transactions were recorded for the transfer of 740 bitcoins stored in the same wallet since May 2012. Nine years ago, the value of these coins was $3.7 thousand ($5 per BTC), while at the time of transaction – $26.1 million. 9 years the value of digital coins has grown by 7 thousand times.
On September 20, bitcoin rate fell to $42.5 thousand for the first time since August 5. As of 16:30 Moscow time, the first cryptocurrency is trading at $43.8 thousand, it has fallen in price by 8% over the past 24 hours.
