A major cryptocurrency holder purchased 5 million Cardano (ADA) for $6 million. The transaction was discovered by WhaleStats, a service that tracks major cryptocurrency movements. The transaction fee was $2.

Cardano trades at $1.2 on Feb. 9 and has a capitalization of $38 billion, according to CoinGecko. The asset ranks seventh on the list of the largest cryptocurrencies by capitalization. In September 2021, Cardano’s price renewed its all-time high above $3. Since then, the altcoin has fallen in price by 62%.

Earlier, analysts at the cryptocurrency exchange Kraken published a report assessing the prospects of the Cardano project. Experts believe that at the moment the cryptocurrency is in the correction stage, after the exit from which its rate could grow many times.
