The first collection of tokens developed by the crypto-platform with the footballer will be launched by the end of the year
Soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo will release several NFT collections in collaboration with the Binance platform. The athlete has entered into a multi-year partnership with the cryptocurrency exchange, according to a report on its blog. The goal of the collaboration will be to create digital collectibles and attract soccer fans to the Web3 ecosystem.
“Nothing is more important to me than my fans, so I want to provide them with a unique experience on this NFT platform,” Ronaldo said.
The first collection, scheduled to launch later this year, will feature NFTs with original designs developed by the crypto platform in conjunction with the soccer player. The Binance team will provide fans of the footballer with “exclusive opportunities to interact with the idol,” said Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao.
